Our Pyramid of Priorities is the stage-by-stage map this course is built around. It sets out what actually matters in each band of ACL rehabilitation — from settling a post-operative knee through to returning to performance — and where to look when a patient stops progressing.

  • Five bands, post-op through to return to performance
  • The priorities in each band, and the order they come in
  • A prompt for finding what is holding an athlete back
  • Set up for A3 — made to be printed and put on a wall

Part B

Late Stage & Complex Cases

The gap between a good test result and a player who is genuinely ready.

  • Reactive agility, change-of-direction mechanics and field testing protocols
  • Managing stalled rehab, bracing protocols and concurrent injuries
  • Full walkthrough of SportsFit's ACL programming platform
Why criteria

The tests are the curriculum.

Most ACL programs are written in weeks. The problem is that a knee at twelve weeks and a knee at twelve weeks are two different knees. Everything on this course is built around measurement — so you can defend a progression decision, and know when to hold one back.

  • Objective testing you can run in a normal clinic, not just a lab
  • Clear exit criteria at every phase of the ladder
  • What to do when a patient stalls and the timeline says they shouldn't have
  • Hands-on time in a working gym, not a lecture theatre

Common questions
Who is this course for?

Physiotherapists and allied health professionals managing ACL reconstruction and rehabilitation — in private practice, in a club setting, or both. It assumes you already treat knees; it is not an introduction to anatomy.

Do I have to attend both days?

No. Each day stands alone and can be booked on its own. Most attendees take the pair, since the second day assumes the framework built on the first.

How many CPD hours do I get?

7 CPD hours per day, so 14 across both. You will receive a certificate of attendance for each day you attend.

What is the cancellation policy?

14 or more days before: full refund, or transfer to another date free of charge.

7 to 13 days before: 50% refund, or transfer to another date.

Under 7 days: non-refundable, but your place is transferable to a colleague.

Is there parking, and what should I bring?

Street parking is available around Great North Road. Wear clothes you can move and demonstrate in — there is hands-on practical work in the gym on both days. Lunch and a printed manual are provided.

Twenty seats a day. Two Sundays in October.

Registration is handled through Humanitix. If you have a question first, call the clinic on (02) 8054 3775 — someone who is teaching on the day will answer it.
